Update: 12/30/2024:
We worked with our gate vendor (TEM) for about 3 hours today and we were able to find the root cause of the intermittent issue at the Mandalay 4 entrance gate. Unfortunately there is no quick or easy fix as it involves degraded underground infrastructure. There are no spare cable pairs we can use, and no way to run new cables with the existing conduit. We are looking to use a wireless bridge as a temporary workaround until a new, more permanent solution can be found.
Management is aware and planning to send out an update to residents soon but expect these entrance gates to be open for a while. More to come.

During this morning's scheduled maintenance we found the entrance gate at Mandalay 4 was not opening consistently. There appears to be an issue with the RFID Reader or with connectivity between the reader and the gates. As this was not something we could resolve, and to avoid any issues for residents, we manually opened and left both entrance gates open. I have notified Management and we will follow up tomorrow.
